Update to our booking terms with immediate effect.
Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will now be charged a cancellation fee. This cancellation fee will be 50% of the value of the booked appointment. ‘No Shows’ will also be charged the same fee should you wish to book again.
Unfortunately we have seen a sharp increase in late cancellations and ‘no shows’ since our reopening in April. This has had massive financial implications for us. As a small, independently owned business we are unable to continue to absorb these costs, particularly as our running costs have risen substantially due to Covid-19 restrictions in place.
You may also be asked to pay a booking fee for any appointment over an hour in duration. This fee will non-refundable should you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment.

Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell or have any Covid-19 symptoms (including, but not limited to a
new continuous cough, a high temperature or loss of/change to your sense of smell or taste). If you need to rearrange your appointment please let us know by 9.30am on the day of your appointment by emailing info@skinsquared.co.uk or message our facebook page.
Arrive on time. We now have allocated parking in Market Square exclusively for Skin Squared clients. We do not have any
waiting area inside the salon. Please wait in your car or outside the salon until your appointment.
Arrive alone. Please ensure you attend your appointment on your own and with as little belongings as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to permit accompanying children in the salon at this time. Please sanitise your hands on arrival.
Client screening. We will be taking your temperature on arrival. You will be required to complete a Covid-19 questionnaire before your treatment can take place.
Wear a mask. You will be required to wear a face covering in the salon, unless instructed otherwise by a member of staff. Please bring your own face covering, alternatively masks will be available to purchase for £1.
Please pay by card or contactless wherever possible. Please keep a safe distance from other clients at all times. If you are unable to wear a face covering for medical reasons, or you are ‘vulnerable’, please talk to a member of staff as we will do
our best to accommodate you outside of our regular opening hours.
Strict cleaning procedures. We will be cleaning and disinfecting our work space thoroughly after every client. We will need to allow extra time in between each client for these extra measures.
No magazines. To ensure our salon stays hygienic and clean, we are operating a no magazine or book policy.
No food or drink. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refreshments.
Washing our hands. We always wash hands in between each client and use anti-bacterial hand sanitiser to prevent cross
contamination.
Symptoms. All staff temperatures will be taken on arrival to the salon. If we experience any symptoms, we will be in contact to reschedule your appointment immediately.
Risk Assessment. We have fully reassessed the salon and our working practices to address potential risks relating to Covid-19 and we have implemented protocols to resolve any potential issues.
